ASELSAN showcased its expanding portfolio of integrated multi-domain defense solutions at Eurosatory 2026, placing particular emphasis on counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) technologies, electronic warfare capabilities, precision-guided munitions, and autonomous maritime systems. The Turkish defense technology company also strengthened its international partnerships through the signing of two strategic cooperation agreements during the exhibition.
Among the key highlights of ASELSAN’s presence at Eurosatory was DRONEDEF, the company’s integrated counter-UAV concept developed as a core component of its Steel Dome layered air defense architecture. Designed to address the rapidly evolving drone threat environment, DRONEDEF combines multiple complementary systems to provide a comprehensive defense solution against a wide range of unmanned aerial threats.
The integrated architecture incorporates the İHTAR anti-drone system, the GÖKBERK laser weapon system, the KORKUT 100/25 SB anti-drone weapon system, and the EJDERHA high-power electromagnetic anti-UAV system. Together, these capabilities provide hard-kill, directed-energy, and electromagnetic effects, enabling operators to respond effectively to diverse aerial threats across different operational scenarios.
ASELSAN also displayed the KALKAN II/M vehicle-mounted mobile search radar, which forms an important part of modern air defense networks by providing advanced surveillance and target detection capabilities. The company further highlighted its Steel Dome air defense architecture, an integrated layered defense concept designed to protect critical assets against a broad spectrum of airborne threats.
In the electromagnetic warfare domain, ASELSAN presented the KORAL AD mobile radar electronic warfare system. The system is designed to detect, analyze, and disrupt hostile radar systems, contributing significantly to battlefield situational awareness and operational superiority in contested environments.
The company’s stand also featured the TOLUN family of precision-guided munitions, developed to provide highly accurate strike capabilities against fixed and mobile targets. In the maritime domain, visitors were introduced to the KILIÇ family of autonomous underwater vehicles, demonstrating ASELSAN’s growing capabilities in unmanned naval systems and underwater operations.
Beyond technology demonstrations, ASELSAN used Eurosatory 2026 as a platform to expand its international cooperation network. The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Daimler Truck to explore opportunities for integrating ASELSAN payloads and mission systems onto Mercedes-Benz military truck platforms. The cooperation is expected to support future air defense and electronic warfare programs while facilitating joint marketing and business development activities. Koluman, Daimler Truck’s original equipment manufacturer partner in Türkiye, will support implementation efforts.
ASELSAN also signed a Letter of Intent with Latvian company VIC TEC, a leading manufacturer of unmanned surface vessel platforms and interceptor drones. The agreement aims to enhance Latvia’s counter-UAS capabilities through the integration of advanced detection and engagement technologies while strengthening defense cooperation between the two countries.
Commenting on the company’s participation, ASELSAN President and CEO Ahmet Akyol stated that the strong international interest in the company’s counter-UAV, electronic warfare, precision-strike, and autonomous systems reflects the growing demand for integrated and operationally proven defense solutions.
ASELSAN’s presence at Eurosatory 2026 underscores its ambition to expand its role as a global defense partner, delivering advanced multi-domain capabilities designed to address the increasingly complex challenges of today’s security environment.
